Let's give our young people the skills to care for our elderly.
Friends of the Elderly Ireland have introduced a 5 day, FETAC recognised Practical Home Care Skills programme for Transition Year students.
This FETAC recognised course will give Transition Year students the skills to give non medical care to the elderly who live alone and need support.
The course is classroom based and is available in the Teacher's Club in Parnell Square or in your school by a FETAC registered tutor. This is a one week course. The cost of the course starts at €150, depending on the number of students enrolled.
