Our young volunteers visit our elderly on a regular basis. For the elderly that we cannot visit we build up a strong telephone friendship. We make a commitment to ring them a least once a week and send birthday and special occassion cards.

Our Friendship calls are very important to our elderly friends who are confined to their homes, sometimes they will be the only social calls they get. They can also serve as an 'early warning ' and prevent a problem becoming a crisis.
Our three EVS (European Voluntary Service) volunteers will dedicate one year of their lives to helping our older friends in Ireland. Learn more about EVS and brought our brilliant volunteers to Ireland!
