Support our campaign to get private home care companies regulated by HIQA
Please sign our petition now!
Friends of the Elderly are campaigning to get the Home Care sector regulated and monitored by HIQA (Health Information Quality Authority). "The abuses highlighted by RTE's recent Primetime programme on the Home Care sector shocked us all, but they are an inevitable consequence when the HSE doesn't even know how many home care companies are operating in Ireland" says Dermot Kirwan of Friends of the Elderly. "

"The only way we can protect our elderly from poor standards or abuse is for responsibility for registration and inspection of home care companies to be given to HIQA".
