Ways To Donate

Friends of the Elderly is totally dependent on voluntary funding. Your donation is more than just a source of income but an additional aid to spreading our organisation's philosophy of helping alleviate loneliness and isolation among the elderly.

Donate Online Now or read below for other ways to donate.

Direct Debit/Standing Order

Regular giving allows Friends of the Elderly to plan for the future, enabling us to start new projects and develop new initiatives to assist the elderly.

If you would like to arrange a regular donation (monthly or weekly for example) just call our fundraiser to discuss details.  Dermot Kirwan - 01 8731855

Donations by Post

You can send a donation to us at any time by cheque, postal order or bank draft.
Our address is:

Friends of the Elderly
25 Bolton Street
Dublin 1

Charitable Status No. CHY 12003

Bequests

Bequests left by individuals to Friends of the Elderly leave a lasting legacy. If you would like to remember us in your will, please seek advice from your solicitor or contact our Fundraising Manager at 01 8731855.  As an alternative to leaving a bequest you could ask that instead of flowers, people make a donation to Friends of the Elderly.

Tax Information

If you are a PAYE worker and donate more than €250 in any year to Friends of the Elderly, we can claim back the tax you pay on that amount. Therefore your donation could be worth as much as 42% more to us - at no extra cost to you.

Shop

Ritzy Rags our charity/thrift shop at 25 Bolton Street is our main source of income. Read more about the shop here.
